Electrical network upgrades for apartment buildings
Can your building's wiring still cope?
An old electrical network is not only outdated, it can also be a safety risk. We handle everything from design and permits to installation.
Almost everything we use today runs on electricity. That only works if the capacity the utility supplies actually reaches the flats, and the building's shared network is what carries it there.
Why is it needed?
The fittings are usually worn out, and their sizing and materials were not designed for today's loads. An overloaded network is unreliable and a fire hazard, and it cannot provide the 1×32 A every flat is entitled to.
When?
As soon as possible: planned, scheduled and done properly, before a fault causes an unexpected outage or a costly repair.

What we do
Design and permits
- An upgrade plan for the building's electrical network, covering private, shared and utility-owned sections
- Liaison with the electricity utility, including a grid development request where needed
Installation
- Replacing the cables and equipment of the metered and unmetered network: main distribution board, fire-safety main switch, floor distribution boards, flat junction boxes and incoming supply cabinets
- Bringing meter positions up to standard
- Replacing light fittings in stairwells, common areas and storage rooms
Documentation
- Electrical safety inspection (VBF), including protection against electric shock
- Lightning protection inspection (VVF)
On request
- Fire protection systems
- Solar systems and energy storage
- Complete electrical renovation of flats
